Eurocopter’s private aviation sector presence is reinforced with new helicopter sales and maintenance agreements announced at EBACE 2012

euro_11Strategic new contracts for Eurocopter’s single engine product lines – along with a go-ahead for the latest addition to its approved maintenance center network – were announced at the conclusion of the annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) meeting in Geneva today.

Rosoboronexport at Fifth International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2012

logo_rosoboronexportFrom 17 to 19 May 2012, the Crocus Expo Center, Moscow, will host the Fifth International Helicopter Industry Exhibition "HeliRussia 2012". Rosoboronexport JSC, being a traditional participant of the exhibition, will be presenting Russian-made helicopters in military and military-transport versions.

New Simplex STC for AW139 Fire Attack approved at 150 kias plus increased capacity

simplex_1Simplex received FAA STC approval for several enhancements to their Fire Attack system for the AgustaWestland AW139. The new system, STC number SR02351LA, was issued on April 23th, 2012, and is the result of a partnership with AgustaWestland to take advantage of the AW139 flight speed and increased payload capacity.

Bell Helicopter Gains Altitude in Europe Delivers Six Aircraft in 30 Days

logo_bellBell Helicopter announced at EBACE it completed deliveries of six of its newest aircraft in Europe during the last month. Three Bell 407GX aircraft, the first of its kind in Europe, took flight in Belgium, Denmark and, most recently, Iceland. Bell also delivered three additional Bell 429 aircraft in Russia and Ukraine.
